Happy Wines-day!! Time for our Wines-day review! October is coming to a close, we are approaching Halloween, so what an appropriate wine, Paranoia. The label is creepy, and who doesn't have a little "Paranoia" with all that goes on this time of year! The label sets the tone with the spooky hologram. I always felt like someone is watching me. This is a 2012 California Red Wine Blend. Seriously can we really go wrong with red blends? No, not really. This wine is a medium bodied wine with strong notes of cherry. I found a hint from oak, and a hint of spiciness. Some of the underlying tones were boysenberry, and black tea. As I sipped on my glass, I was contemplating what to make for dinner. Just sipping on this wine, I instantly thought of red meat! I paired this wine with a flank steak (cooked medium rare), asparagus and baby red potatoes. What a perfect dinner!! This wine is economically priced at approximately $12.99. Well worth the money. Have a two more "Spooky" reds to try to celebrate Halloween!! Do you have a favorite red? Would love some suggestions on some wines to feature on Wines-day! Have a SUPER rest of your week! Cheers to you! Emma xoxoxo Comments are closed.
